Jayanti Kathale, the owner of PurnaBramha
Jayanti Katale is originally from Nagpur. He holds an MCA degree and is a software engineer. She was working in ‘ Infosys ‘ company in ‘ Information Technology ‘ (IT) sector . In the year 2012, She has worked in the field of Information Technology for 13 years till 2012. After she was transferred to Bangalore in the year 2000 for her job, she felt the lack of Marathi food. She had the same experience in air travel. She decided to set up a Marathi restaurant himself by spreading the message that ‘food is absolute’ in Marathi food culture. By conducting professional research in Bangalore , keeping in mind the demand and supply of food items, tasting the distinct taste of each region, she prepared the plan for Purnabraham She built the first restaurant that can seat 20 people in a space of 60 square feet. There she started selling items like plain rice, puranpoli , thalipeeth.
She changed her profession at the peak of her career with Infosys and embraced entrepreneurship to start Purna Bramha, a restaurant specializing in authentic regional Maharashtrian cuisine. Her initial attempts at entrepreneurship were constrained. Purna Bramha started as a small venture with limited funds but eventually as she made up her mind for the big move, Jayanti needed more working capital to expand.
Currently Jayanti is not just restricted to Bangalore, and she is expanding her business through a franchise model which is exclusive to women entrepreneurs. She has also set a personal goal to open 5,000 outlets across the globe over time.
